Episode 43 - Lonely

Caleb: Sometimes I sit by myself with only the deafening silence drowning out the sound of everything. The internal monologue I personify as voices goes away and I'm left alone. Friends, coworkers, family, and the people I love surround me.  Still, I feel like an island and they're all ships sailing around me. You'd think after three decades on this planet I would have learned to keep myself company, but I haven't learned that trick yet. I might accomplish more when I'm by myself because there's something truly productive about solitude, but it eats away at my soul after a while.  I'm fucking sick of it.
